minimalist file system

Everyone has a completely different way of storing and organizing files. If you are happy with the way your system works, excellent! If not, you are welcome to give mine a try. Here's what my method looks like.

Looks pretty simple, right? Just three folders with lowercase labels and colorful icons. Here's what they have in them.

1. Archives. Everything I don't need at the moment, but want to keep goes in here. Pictures, videos, site templates, and sheet music.

2. Inbox. Where I toss recent camera uploads, new songs, and anything else that I download.

3. Projects. Things I'm currently working on. Half-edited videos, graphics-in-progress, and school-related posters or graphs.

I store my music collection in Google Play, and my Documents in Google Drive. Both of which I love. Once you get used to accessing your files from any computer, it's hard to go back. Oh, and I also back everything up with the ever-popular (and awesome) Dropbox
